How it works

  1. 1 — Add your client sites

    Paste a list of domains or import a CSV. A one-off public scan needs no account at all; a workspace is what turns one check into monitoring.

  2. 2 — We re-scan on a schedule

    Weekly, or daily on the Agency plan. Every scan starts from a clean browser session with no cookies and no prior consent.

  3. 3 — You get proof, not guesses

    Change alerts, before and after screenshots, an absolute UTC timestamp, and a white-label PDF for the client.

What it does not do

ConsentProof does not serve a cookie banner, does not write your cookie policy, and cannot make a site compliant. It tests one thing — whether non-essential cookies and third-party trackers fire before a visitor consents — and records what it saw, with a timestamp. Keep whichever consent platform you already use; an independent test is worth more than one run by the vendor being tested.

What is ConsentProof?

Is the scan really free, with no account?
Yes. Public scans need no account, no email and no card, and they return the full evidence rather than a summary. They are rate-limited to 3 scans per IP per day and 1 scan per site per hour.
How long does a scan take?
Usually under a minute. The scan loads the page in a clean session, waits for the network to settle, clicks the consent banner, waits for tags to fire, and captures both states.
Do I have to replace my clients' cookie banners?
No. We do not sell a banner and have no interest in replacing one. Keep Cookiebot, CookieYes, a self-hosted library or whatever else is installed; this tells you whether it is doing its job.
How do I cancel?
From Account → Manage billing, which opens the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
